Have questions?

How do you lower my taxes?

We challenge the county’s opinion of your home’s value. Using sales data, property details, and appraisal best practices, we show why your home is overvalued. We then negotiate directly with county appraisers for a lower assessed value and a smaller property tax bill.

Savings vary by property, but in many appraisals are overestimated. Most successful protests result in hundreds or even thousands in annual tax savings. The average reduction for homeowners is often 10–30% of the appraised value, though it depends on market evidence and exemptions.

What does it cost to use your service?

We work on a contingency basis. That means you only pay if we save you money. Our fee is a percentage of the tax reduction we achieve, so you’ll never pay more than you save.

For example, if we reduce your property value enough to save you $1,000 in taxes, and our fee is 25%, your cost would be $250. If we don’t win a reduction, you pay nothing.

What are property tax exemptions?

It’s a legal tax break that reduces the taxable value of property if the owner or property meet certain criteria. These differ from state-to-state and county-to-county, but the most common include:
- Homestead exemption: Reduces the taxable value of your primary residence (only one allowed).
- Over-65 exemption: Reduces your tax bill further and freezes school taxes.
- Disability exemption: Additional savings for qualifying homeowners.
- Veteran exemption: Up to a 100% tax exemption for disabled veterans.

Is there any risk to my property if I protest?

No. Filing a protest does not put your home at risk. Each State Property Tax Code gives you the right to challenge your valuation, and there are no penalties or negative consequences for exercising that right.
